Has anyone ripped a 1962 or 1963 fb pack?

Was it graded before? How was the condition of the cards?

I am considering ripping one of these and am looking for some feedback.

    i opened a 1962 topps football pack last year.black bordered and all.and I really dont think it was tampered with.
    I still havent sent them in for grading yet.

    zef, quit pitty-pattying around and just rip the damn thing. The worst that can happen is you spend an inordinate amount of money to get a cheap 10 second thrill. Be a man dammit.

    this was an ungraded pack.
    had slight tear and thought.....well I guess I didnt think, I just opened.
    wax stain was dead on where it supposed to be.

    the gene lipscomb is a SP and really looks good. I was actually wondering how the mob thinks they will grade out?
    heres the back of the gene.

    I opened tons of them as a ute.

    I have no idea what condition they were in. Everything
    was about player hunting; condition was not considered.

    All of mine either went straight to rubber-bands, or to bike spokes.

    Nice '62's, too bad they're o/c. The Big Daddy looks nice. Maybe an 8. Looks a little too o/c t-b to get a 9. Good luck if you grade it. I like the King money.

    it IS only money. Just ask my wife.
    I watch people on beckett open new packs for $500 and cringe. I would rather open a vintage pack or purchase a cool old card over anything new. I guess thats why we hang out here.
