my NEWP GB Crown, probably MS67 with a shot at 68!

image

okay, maybe not quite that high! I saw this Crown and just couldn't pass it up! The seller says that it has a hint of showing an '8' as the last number, which would mean this is an 1818. If NGC will slab this round, i may do it as a lark. I'm also looking for a Crown from this year in nice condition, so it would be cool to have a high-low Crown set.

just had to share my cheap thrill!

Someday I want one of those original dragonslayer crowns, I think that one is neat.

Someday, I also think our collection will be exactly the same. imageimage
MS66 taste on an MS63 budget.

  • Nice pattern of wear, I will have to take a pic of my bull head half crown someday to show what that wear looks like

I LOVE that coin. I'm trying to get a roll of George III/IV crowns in similar condition. Mind saying how much you paid for it?
