Crack and resub atleast once....be sure to film it so we can put it on YouTube if you jab Reggie with a screwdriver.
  • I think it is definately worthy of a regrade fee. The card is obviously not going to come back lower than an 8 and appears to be every bit worhty of a 9. the corners all look perfect, the centering is dead on all around etc. The difference in what it would bring on Ebay would be in the 1000's!! The only hitch to me is cracking open the case.

Whatever you decide, I would suggest that you not ask anyone else for a PSA 8 '57 Brooks Robinson, a PSA 8 '60 Yaz and a PSA 7 '59 Gibson in return for it. image

The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

How much does that off-centering on the back weigh on the diff. between 8 & 9?

I think it's still going to come back an 8 .

Would really hate to have it come back E.O.T. too .

I would keep it as is and not risk possibly damaging it getting it out of that holder .

I have a hard enough time just unwrapping the packs without damaging the cards in some way , forget about trying to get it out of that thing .

    But that's just me .

Best of luck in your decision which ever way the wind blows you though Mr HandyMan . . . That is a beautiful Reggie, just the back centering is what is off .

Cracking and resubmitting is no different from gambling.
It's nice to think you can win big, okay if you break even, but you have to be able to accept the possibility of losing.
    Good luck.

Well I think it depends on if you are going to keep the card or plan on selling.

If you are going to keep it in your collection why crack it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

However if your plans are to sell it

    SMR is

    PSA 8 $475

    PSA 9 $5200

I think it might be worth cracking it and re-submitting............... Big price swing between and 8 and 9.
