Rubbed off carton/info on backs of cards

Does anyone have knowledge of if/how much PSA subtracts for the back of a card having it's caption rubbed off (i.e. 1964 baseball, 1958 football)?

I think it depends....it depends on how the caption was rubbed off and whether or not it is detracting from the eye appeal. For example, if the 1964 baseball caption was removed very carefully, it probably will not get any subtraction. But if someone in 1964 vigorously took a silver quarter to the back of the card, it will have caused damage.
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

It might cause damage, but if any of the silver rubbed off onto the card it would make it more valuable because silver is worth more than cardboard, right?
