    Notice Jerry and other Pets fans have disappeared lately. They were chirpin' like songbirds a few weeks ago. They're probably hiding under their beds hoping that this losing nightmare will go away. Sorry Pets fans - it ain't going away - it's gonna get worse!

    I have to admit that the Phillies are playing confidently and competently. But, in the end, their pitching will probably let them down

    You Phillie fans sure were quiet when the Royals were beating you 2 out of three. I think the Royals had 30 hits in their two wins, and one was a 17-5 hammering.

    I guess you guys don't know about the new rule that went into effect in MLB this year: If your pitching staff makes Alex Gordon look like a big league hitter, you're not a playofff caliber team.

    Maybe next year.

    You Sillie fans are truly comical! We don't hear a word out of you for two months (in fact, Stevey boy, you even conceded the division to the Mets at one point) and now you're all chirping because you won a few games in a row and are in third place. Wow! Let's see who has the last laugh, come September when the Sillies are buried deep in the division where they belong! I bet then you'll just switch your attention to rooting aginst the Mets in the playoffs just like last year, LOL! You guys haven't won a playoff series since 19 freakin 80, LOL!

    Also, here's a little know fact that was in the paper yesterday: The Sillies are the first team in all of professional sports to be on the verge of losing 10,000 games! Wow, that's a lot of losing!!

    ahhhh...Is Mets fan living in the past? You all forget that while it has been 27 years since a Phillies penant..it has been over 20
    years since a Mets penant! You all hardly have room for making fun of us!

    Needless to say, HoJo and Dave Kingman are gone, its 2007 and the Mets are about to don their dresses and lipstick. It doesn't
    matter if you lose to the Royals by 10 or the Tigers by 10, if you arn't sitting atop your divison come September, you will be watchin
    the better team from the couch (or from under the bed in case of NY fan).

    LOL, You'll be back under the bed come September just like you were when the Bucs tanked and the Criminoles struggled to beat 1-AA teams on their schedule. At least Stevey boy roots for the Eagles, too, what's your excuse for being a Sillie fan? LOL!

    Ah it's great seeing Jerry getting a little ticked off. If there's one thing I hate it's a happy Pets fan. Jerry was being so nice and cordial when the Pets had that big lead - I thought maybe he was contemplating becoming a Tibetian monk or something like that.

    The Pets are fading like cheap paint on a New York City park bench where the bums sleep at night.

    Pets losing streak now at 5. Do I hear a 6? LOL

    Check your history.

    The Phils have been to the World Series since 1980 ('83 and '93), meaning that they must have won a "playoff series" since then.

    2000?????Second place doesn't count. Phils have had two second places in the last 20 years, Mets only one......but thats ancient
    history...man you sound like freaking Cowboy fan!

    The fact of the matter is, the mets built a nice lead with smoke and mirrors, now the big bad phillies, even though they are still
    banged up, are feasting on NY like its feeding time at the zoo, and no bed sham is going to hide you all. Own up and admit
    that the Phils will be in first place by the all star break, and then never look back. Your only chance is the wild card, and we
    all know you can't beat Arizona/SF/SD, so forget that too.

    You Sillie fans are very entertaining! Coming out of the woodwork when your team finally wins a few games in a row. Hate to break it to ya fellas, but the season is far from over, we're STILL in first place, and by September you guys will be 10 games back of New York, hoping for the wildcard, just like last year!
