PSA 10 SMR rule of thumb

If the 10's are listed, is it 5X the psa 9 price, roughly?

  • totally dependent on the pop, player and the year. what set are you talking about or is this just a general question?

Thats about right....in a very general statement and assuming you are only talking modern. Vintage would be much different. (20x?)

I would say 3-5. Most modern PSA 10's on ebay..~$6-10 and PSA 9's ~$2-5. Times prices around 2x for message boards, shows, websites and like.

What they all said. On vintage the population of the 10, the aggressiveness of those chasing it in the registry, the popularity of the player all factor in.

I can speak for a lot of people where I wish there was a hard and fast formula but there just is not.
  • thanks for the input folks. just for info, it is a 1968 topps, psa 10 with pop less than 10 and a major star (Hofer).
