  • I was wondering that too...

Paul, I recently picked up duplicate 1971 Kellogg's PSA 10's of Dave Herman and Walt Sweeney. Would like to trade them for 1971 Kellogg's PSA 10's that I need (baseball or football).

    Any help?

Larry (King Kellogg) stayed at my house last weekend. He's really into buying and selling fancy currency right now (dollar bills with unusual serial numbers) and should have an announcement in regards to his card collection soon. Cards or currency, he remains one of the best guys on the planet and is very much alive and well.

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

Hey guys! My name is Frank Smith and I am on the PSA registry under name "Funky Frank". I am proud to annouce that I purchased the King's collection. At this point I have about 75% of the material at my home and am sorting through everything trying to decide what I'm going to keep and what I'm going to sell.

Although I haven't reached a decision on most of the items, I can tell you that I am going to break up both his 1970 and 1971 Kellogg's Football sets.

I'm going to start by listing his 1970 Kellogg's Football set (only 12 cards) and the first 15 or so cards of his awsome 1971 set this evening. The 1971 set is complete in PSA 9 and 10. The 10's in the set are as follows:

    #8 Mel Renfro
    #14 Gene Washington
    #18 Dan Conners
    #20 Harry Schuh
    #30 Harmon Wages
    #31 Walt Sweeney
    #32 Bruce Taylor
    #33 George Blanda
    #43 Wayne Walker
    #47 Claude Humphrey
    #48 Jerry LeVias
    #53 Al Atkinson
    #55 Bob Griese

While I am planning to list most of the cards on eBay, I mulling over several very attractive offers for cards from people who know that I own the set. If there is something you really want, feel free to let me know. You can PM me or e-mail me at fesmith68@yahoo.com. My user ID is fsmith68.

Bummer! It seemed Larry really focused on the 1971 set and his baseball sets. I think he planned on going back to the 1970 set at one point but never made it. Frank

Paul - Congratulations on picking up the two cards! I think you did great on the #1 card as the last 8 went for over $100 earlier in the year. As for what I have left, every nine I have is currently on eBay. Frank
