Here is a funny one

I have a card that ended last night it sold for 11.73, I started it at one cent. The buyer emailed me stating that when he bid he only wanted to bid 13 cents not 13 dollars and he feels he should only have to pay that amount.

I sent and email back to him explaining the fact the card would have sold for alot more than 13 cents as there were 3 bidders that bid after he did based on those bidders card would have sold for 10.50. I also added I expect payment in full within 7 days otherwise I will report him to Ebay.

make sure you block him for your future auctions. what a pain in the butt. multiple times i put in the wrong amount in my snipes and never once contacted a seller to let me slide. its my own fault so i lived up to my responsibility. many times i even forget to take out snipes of similar cards i won therefore no longer needed that card. still went thru the deal without hesitation. once again my mistake. this buyer of yours is just really cheap. whats his user name so others can block him as well?

I agree with Pat. I wonder if the guy saw that others had bid as well?

    Good for you.
  • Sounds like buyers remorse to me. He had to actually enter 1 3 . 0 0 on his keyboard. According to what you said he meant to enter . 1 3. Nah, I don't think so.
  • Update on this story, He finally paid on Wednesday evening. He emails me today saying that he has yet to recieve this card and he has waited too long and is demanding a refund. Luckily I was getting ready to leave with his card to take it to the PO when I got that one. I promptly refunded him added him to my BBL am waiting on the neg he will leave me..

I am tempted to fire first on that fromt.

I don't believe buyers for one minute when they say that.

One time it cost me over $300 and another time about $250.

I'm building a 1968 and a 1970 Topps set. I have lots of 1970s and 1960s to offer in trade.
