She says she's closing her shop too.... looks like two of the standard "I'm selling everything off because _______." type deals.

LOL!!! That's exactly who I think of when I see these types of listings. Another words this is probably a shop trying to sell off all of their worthless packs.
  • Looks like some shady card store owner stole a random picture of a girl off the internets to "help" sell his riff raff.

  • Hmmm, I'm not seeing that. I think the only thing we have in common would be that we are girls. image

Here are the chances of anyone receiving a key card in one of those lots: ZERO

Of course if some sucker buys $100 worth - this con artist might put a $25 or $50 card in there hoping the sucker might order again.

Possibly the seller has other ebay accounts who will "buy" a few lots and proclaim in the feedback that they received a nice Mantle. All would be part of the con to sucker people in. A very well organized and professional scammer here in my opinion - a perennial con artist for sure.

    I've seen that one . . .
What a bunch of crap !
He's just going to leave all those cards right ?
    I'm sure they're making money though . . .
They could have at least used a pic of a more attractive woman .
I have to admit though, it almost worked for me until my wife came in and said, "you don't actually believe that crap do you? "
    Then I woke up .

Well good for you, and so have I. However I still think it's worthwhile to run threads like this to warm newbies about these scammers. It makes for a better hobby for everybody - except for the scammers that is.

Years ago when I first started ebaying and seeing these lot deals, sometimes I did some quick math and the cost of buying all the offered lots was much less than the pictured cards were worth - so I e-mailed those who were within driving distance, and I told them I'd drive over and buy all the lots, and upon a quick inspection to make sure all the pictured cards were there, I'd hand them the cash. Of course they either ignored my e-mail or refused the offer - scammer SOB's.
  • Anybody else notice those two auctions had the same picture with the Mario Lemieux cards?

What I don't understand about all that is , why wouldn't the guy press charges for these girls basically stealing and selling his property ?
Also wouldn't that be like receiving stolen property ?
I'd never let my wife /girlfriend or anyone else just take my collection and sell it .
I suppose a wife might be able to get away with it legally , I'm not too sure about the girlfriend though , she might be doing a little time with Paris

Both auctions share a pic-6th pic from top on the first auction, and the 13th pic from top on the second auction. And not that these are legit in any way, but I love how someone with no "card hobby knowledge" picks out the Gretzky rookie to lay on the top of the box.

Those pics look like something from one of those "I'm barely 18 and like to pose sexy" websites.

Not that I would ever visit a website such as that! image

Has anyone considered that Gary's wife Steph has finally realized Beerbong boy is a tool and has kicked him out the house and is selling his collecton? LMMFAO...

maybe she searched his pants and found nothing there. Reseald, and not worth anything.
Guess who this one is about.
