Membership expired....what about free voucher?

My membership just ran out, and I plan on renewing..but not until I get a few cards together to send in for the six free submissions. I just got a voucher in the mail however from my last submission for one free grading. Can I send this in now even though my membership is technically up for a period of time? And do I still put my customer number on the submission form? Or should I just wait until after renewing?
