I regret to report that I am leaving the 1957 Topps baseball world and breaking up my set. It's the 50th anniversary of its issue and a fitting time to leave. If anybody need anything special from my set, LMK.

A sincere congratulations to your set. Such splendid grades, attention to centering and coloring, you will always be the 1957 Topps king to me!
Cheers,

Wow!!! I just looked at your set again and it is UNREAL. Good luck with the break up, and I will PM you my list of about 5 cards I could afford from your masterpiece.

I am sad to see him break it but the price for the 9s that Frank needs are a small fortune with some big money guys competing against him.
Probably a wise move.
Good luck Frank--don't compete against me please for the first psa 8 Mantle that appears.

You just got the #400 Dodgers Sluggers PSA 9! What, leaving cause Tony Soprano's getting whacked?
Maybe a #302 Koufax PSA 9 costing $67k+, or Charlie Merkel jumping in?
Whatever - no '57 registry collector has been more dedicated, your set is a great achievment and it's been an inspiration seeing you build it over the years. It's a sad day for us guys on the bench.
All the best, Russ/ aka Nippy Jones

If you "retire it", will it remain in the registry so that others can enjoy the scans?
If so, I hope you choose to do so.
Congrats on such an accomplishment.
Good luck with its break up...jay
