New USPI Pic

I finally got around to taking a picture of this coin. If you have a picture of a U.S.-Philippine coin that you own and you would like to share, please do.

FYI, the volcano with smoke billowing in the background is the Mayon Volcano.
    trozau (troy ounce gold)
  • Did you notice that on the silver issues, the volcano's plume blows to the right?

NonCents, you not only have an exceptionally beautiful centavo, you have exceptional photography skills as well. I could spend (waste) a lot of time simply ogling it.

Yes, it's based on the new PCGS 1,000 point scale image I've corrected it in the original post.
  • Raw, uncertifed coins. Estimates as to what I might expect from a submission to NGC would be appreciated.

  • Dear USROK and NonCents: Those are two beautiful coins. I have some nice scans too but don't know how to post them. If someone will give instructions for a computer nincompoop to post these scans I'll give it a try. Or, I'm perfectly happy to send a few scans to some computer whiz and let him (or her) post 'em.

  • Justhavingfun,

In order to post an image, I believe you first must have the image uploaded somewhere in the Internet. I have a domain registered, which I use for that and other purposes.

Once the image can be accessed on the Internet, you can then click on the picture frame icon image, which follows the B, I and U icons at the top of the message reply box.

If you have no way to upload images to the Internet, use the email address that I will PM to you, and send me the images you would want uploaded. I can post them to:

    http://www.concealedtreasures.net/JustHavingFunWithPics/

I just created the directory in case you choose that option. If you click the link, you will see that the directory is presently empty, (except for PicIcon.bmp, which I used in this reply). However, when I upload other files, you will be able to see and click on their filenames and supply the URL of one of the images for each click on image.

I have more space than I will ever need, so I can leave them up pretty much indefinately.

I'd be honored to host such images, as I expect they are truly extraordinary, much like USAROK's type set images.

    Mr. Justhavingfun,

If you want quick and easy, I suggest you open an account with photobucket.com. It's free and after you upload your images all you have to do is copy and paste the image [IMG] link located under the picture into the message text box right here in the forums.

    Regards,
