Worth the grading fees??

I have been sitting on this complete 1955 Topps AA set for years. The set is mixed condition, but is about 45% vg or less. Should I break it up and sell it off? Seems like it just sits there forever. I could lower the buy it now, but the error cards are pretty tough to find. Any ideas? Since I have a completely graded PSA 5 or better set, and upgraded for years, it is very hard for me to estimate how much I am into this set for. I know I will take a loss, but want to minimize it. Should I grade some of the money $$$ cards and add to the set? Or sell separate?

<< <i>Yea you should scan all the top cards and use up all the pictures you can for this lot. Use all 12 photos that ebay will let you. You should do much better if you do that. >>
Or use one of the free services. Auctiva is free and I think you get 3 free pics to start.
Get some better scans and then see what kind of interest you get....
Link is at the top.
Again, this is just my humble opinion, critique, and perspective of the auction; it's nothing personal
The cards look around a 3 average. Maybe a 4 on the Graham and a 5 OC on the Thorpe.
SMR for PSA 5 is $2K+ while you have a $4k ask.
If you need to move them, ask $2K and be happy with $1,500.
Good luck.
seems a tad pricey for the condition? what's a reasonable offer for the set in the current condition?
but adding the scans can't hurt.
From a football collectors point, I wouldn't mind dropping $1500 on it. Good luck on the sale.
