1663 Petition Crown

I normally only post in the US Coins forum, but I just wanted to pass along to the indivudals here that I have had the honor over the past week as an ANA Summer Intern to work with the Geoffrey Cope example of the 1663 Charles II Petition Crown. I have been helping with setting up the new "Coins, Crown, and Conflict" exhibit that opened today. I must say that there are many beautiful British pieces from the time of Charles I, Oliver Cromwell, and Charles II. However, the Petition Crown, as the centerpiece, is truly a stunning and beautifully created piece. I would recommend that anyone near Colorado Springs this summer check out the exhibit at the ANA Museum.

I would like to see it "Live". They also had it on display at Spink in London but I didn't make it down.
