Better off dead? Anyone?

This one looks like a lot of other thalers fell on her face, and maybe even a few bigger 2 thaler coins... nonetheless, the coin is much darker in person, I lightened it up quite a bit to show the detail. I think the eagle looks like one pissed off bird on the reverse. I also like this design because it has a lady on it instead of some ugly old king's fat head, that's right I'm talking about you, Prussia.

you'd be pissed off too if you were that underfed! beside the reverse of the Morgan dollar, have you ever seen a more scrawny eagle?! Yeah, i love that particular coin too! I saw one recently that was a strong MS66; the detail on the eagle's breast and feathers were so well struck it was almost like high relief. Glad you like the Thaler, that reverse is one of my favorite designs on any coin, beautiful yet understated.
