<< <i>You should give a real interview David, maybe in coin world? >>
I don't see the need for him to really. He's one of the most publicly active CEOs I've seen of a public corporation, any joe schmoe can email him and they'll generally get a reply even. He's a very active communicator.

It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

I believe that interview was real. For one thing: it is on his site. If it was false, he simply would have removed it
Actually, I believe the interview below, which was circulating on the boards a few days ago is the one in question. Given the tone and some of the general responses I'm sure it's the one in question.
Here is a portion of it
Session One: Interview with PCGS founder David G. Hall. May 21, 2007 Carol: Let’s welcome David G. Hall founder of PCGS, Collectors Universe and well … just a whole lot of things, but we are going to let Mr. Hall tell us about that so lets give him a round of applause. David: Thank you Carol, it’s good to be here . . I think. Carol: May I call you Dave? Dave: You sure can but please don’t call me Overgraded. Carol: Well okay then Dave, and of course I will not call you Overgraded. What kind of silly name is that anyway? Dave: Well it’s a long story and I just as soon not get into that. Carol: And this is what they call slabs today? Dave: Correct, but we prefer to call it encapsulating and certification. Carol. So it looks like we are dealing with three elements here, grading the quality, certifying the coin is real, and developing a marketable product. Is this correct? Dave: That’s pretty much it in a nutshell. Carol: So what happens if you get the grade wrong or it turns out the coin is not real? Dave: We stand behind our certification and we will buy back any mistake we make so that the purchaser does not suffer a financial loss. Carol: Dave we are going to call it quits for today but next session lets explore what it means to be a 3rd party operation, without a conflict of interest, and how your guarantee works. And now I would like to thank you very much for coming here today and sharing with us. Dave: And I thank you too Carol and I must say I was not expecting to be treated so well on the BB news site. This is certainly a welcome relief for me. Carol: It’s not BB that you have to worry about. Dave: Oh yea that’s right; you have God on your site! Now how in the heck did I forget that

Not really, more like the "Numismatic Weekly World News". The Onion is actually funny! His site is just sad.

If TDN was truth, well, it'd be beyond pathetic. I'd never believe it unless I saw absolute proof.
