This is really not a spoof on home shopping -

If you look at youtube there are tons of box breaks videos where people crack new product and are very careful opening and get all excited
    when they pull autos/patches etc...

And I wanted to throw in a little bit of grading element to it...

Thats what I was going for with this video..

    Roger-
  • With the exception of the manager cards, the worst pack possible. I started wondering what would happen if a Bonds came out.

Absolutely nothing. In fact, I would rather die than be forced to endure the nightmare of spending money again on all of the garbage as I did in 1987-1989. The mistakes that I made, the real cards that I passed up and all of those wasted dollars still haunts me, esp since I was in the my late 20s and should have known better (but I was too stupid to pay attention).

You mean what would I give to get any days back again . . .
Time is a very valuable thing .
Man , right there you got me lost in thought . . .
I guess the question we tend to ask the most often is ... what if ?
    Instant replay ?
    Great . . . I won't be sleepin tonight !

pack break guy missed a golden opportunity.....he should have put the cigarette on the Jim Leyland card image

I cut the tops off with a razor though, I don't like opening the packs any other way , for me every other way seems to put pressure on the corners , so I just cut the tops off and slide em out , I figure they have been on a,"God knows what" kinda ride just gettin to me .

Looks a lot MORE risky damage-wise using all those tools. And I hate to burst this guy's bubble, but 1987 packs are not exactly worth a fortune. image

Seeing that video had me thinking about something, if I had a card with gum stuck on the back of it and still wanted to get it graded, would PSA stick it in one of their new extra thick card holders??
