Favre Star pics Auto, the cert does not line up.

First off the auto is blothcy with the marker. And a clear sticker? Never saw those before. And I can find the cert #. I tried 60052145 and 60052146 and they come up with 1961 fleer cards. Stay away!!

I thought anything pre-97 had to be psa/dna'd anyways? All those star pics are bad news...and the vast majority of good ones are signed on the reverse. It's a shame, there's some great RCs in that set, all in their college unis.

Still looks like a terrible fake, maybe psa missed it. There's enough legit favre autos around, why take the chance?

Excellent catch. I missed the PSA DNA part. So, the friggin card is a 10 but the auto is not graded. Thanks for the help

That will go down as the most expensive 1991 Star Pics Brett Favre card ever.
What a shame...

Even more of a shame is that I have seen autos like that one pass PSA/DNA before.
I never got the real story on the stickers. All the reverse autos have gold stickers.
The front autos I have seen both ways. I don't know which is correct though.

I have heard that the sticker should always be touching the auto on a legit one too. I have noted that to almost always be true with any Star Pics Auto.

As Allen said a real Star Pics auto must have the sticker touching the auto in some fashion. I read that in an article somewhere. I can only assume most scammers dont know this judging from this auction
