1982 Topps Question

I was looking at my 1982 Topps All-Stars today, and I noticed an odd variation on the backs. For some cards, the player's name is in black in on a green background, while others have black ink on a light background. Were these ever "corrected," or were they simply different from player to player?

Here's an example:

There's no Will Clark in the 82 Topps set.

    Interesting observation, crazy Topps proofers.

PS: I think the lettering on the names is in blue.
Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.
