scd crossover red label larry fritsch

Hi,
New to the chat room so any help would be much appreciated. I'm sure this question has come up before , but if anyone has any knowledge on this subject it would be appreciated. I have a 1970 topps #458 pete rose all-star card graded scd red label sports collector digest 9 mint subs centering 8, corners edges 9 surface 10 but on the slab it says larry fritsch collection. I have heard the the old scd red labels weree darn accurate on the grading and are good crossover candidates. My question is what does it mean by larry fritsch collection ? When crossing over do most people send in the original holder or beak the holder open and send raw? does this make a difference . Thanks again for any input ..

I realize this card is almost impossible to find in psa 9 mint condition so i'm somewhat suspect ..
It doesn't say ut and can uplaod a pic also thanks again for the input

Larry Fritsch was a dealer/collector and Scd labeled it that way for him similar to what PSA did for the Gretzky/Mcneil t206 Honus Wagner card. I would send it in on a crossover min grade 9 and see what happens. If it doen't cross and you really like to gamble then crack it out and submit it raw and roll the dice. Just MOO
Does your card have the "U" designation? Just curious.

I would think you have a 50/50 shot without seeing the card. If you post a photo here I think you will get an honest assessment of its chances...
Good luck!
