Check out this listing. Not only are there red flags galore but read the last line of his auction. "There is a 5% buyers premium added to the winning bid on this card." Can the seller even get away with something like that?

Also, this guy's card is altered. He's one of the "PSA says it's altered, but I have paper experts who say it's not" type guys.
Shoot. Look at the pic. You can see the shadow of the "S" on the card.

Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
But, does "no S" mean there should be "no S," or does it mean
that the S is very weak?

How can such an experienced seller think it is OK to add "a buyer's
premium?"

From sagard's link:
"In the case of the Snodgrass card, the "S" broke off of the printer's plate or was partially covered by something during printing. Judging by the rarity of the card, the printing mishap must have been immediately corrected with "NODGRASS" being quickly corrected back to "SNODGRASS". Only the smallest hint of the right hand side of the "S" can be seen.
SIDE NOTE:
"NODGRASS" specimens can only be found in batting pose and only known to have Piedmont backs. The missing letter "S" can be found in different variations, but due to the modern doctoring skills that could even fool grading company, it would be safer to own "NODGRASS" with partial missing "S" than a complete missing "S" version.
