Isn't it great? They are my second favorite team after the Reds.

    My guess is that they finish with at least 100 wins, or about 20 more than the Sillies!

    This team has a ton of talent and the right mix of veteran players (Glavine, Hernandez, Wagner, Beltran, Delgado) and hungry young players (Wright, Reyes, Chavez, Maine, Perez, etc.). World Series, here we come!

    when I was a yut in 1969 I was caught up in Mets fever- the only time I didn't root for the AMAZIN ones was in 1973 when they beat my Reds but Pete did put the hurt on Bud............

    No I only ever read the sports pages, and I already see the sports headlines this fall "Pets lose in the playoffs"

    My questions is this: Grote doesn't know squat about college football, he doesn't know squat about the NFL, and now its clear that
    he doesn't know squat about baseball....what does this guy know?
