After you guess just click on the picture and you will know the grade. Add a STAR after the grade...... With just under 3 days left the coin has broke 1000 bucks. Geez....

MS65, large hit on bottom reverse, hit to left of upper oak leaf and jaw/ear rubs.

Ha...... Not even close on this thing that is slabbed by one of the BIG 2. This coin is a prime example of one sided grading. Maybe they should have turned it over.

It looks MS easily but just how high is the real question. At a certain point these get fairly expensive.

NGC MS-67 Star Designation. I don't agree that it's a 67 due to the hit through the E and D on the bottom reverse, but I'm guessing that's what they graded it.

That was my inital thought as well.

However, I would grade the roosie 66 PQ. The PQ based upon the incredibly attractive toning on the obverse!

Not only that. How about the very nice hit on the torch about 2/3's up on the left. Geez....

66 is what I would give the coin also and I really believe PCGS would do the same possibly. PCGS would not go higher than 66.

Yeah, I noticed the spot on the torch, but forgot to mention it. It's pretty noticeable right in the center of the coin.

But, overall, its a very pretty coin with lovely toning. That obverse is outstanding.

That is very true. The problem is that this coin has potential to go for quite a few beans on ebay. To the sellers credit a very clear photo was put up. The PCGS price guide shows 4750 for the coin.

Between the hit on the torch and the scratch through NE D I can't see how they graded the coin over 64.

Nope and it will not be mine. The price on ebay is already too high. It just irks me that a coin like this can get into a MS68 slab.

Tony I would have to see the cheek before I went under 65. From the picture you could very well be correct.
