in the dishwasher next time. I got this neat toning pattern on one of my knives - maybe my MS-63 1881-CC Morgan should be next! If not that coin, then maybe a 1998 silver Eagle, since that toning could pass for NT nowadays.

i get some monster rainbow stuff from the dishwasher on my 3-4 qt. stainless pasta pans,it might be from a touch of olive oil added to the water while cooking the pasta!
i'm gonna try a morgan this weekend..............if it works i'll post it!.............yes i'll boil it with the olive oil water first.............

I've accidentally left some coins in my pants pocket and run them through the washing machine. So far no rainbow toning though.
