1986 Topps Baseball box

I was wondering if I should open it or just leave them pack as is.I don't know much about baseball players back then.Is there any great players.Or are the cards worth anything.I paid 10.00 for the box.I got it at a yard sale.My wife begged me to go.I seen that so I bought it.What do you think.

$10 can barely pay for gas to get you around from one garage sale to another.

Bust em open and enjoy !

I love 1986's. I'd open them but I open everything. I love to try to get them graded. It's really not profitable but challenging. You'll probably get about 1 PSA 10 from the whole box. Maybe a couple but I doubt it. Maybe zero. They are very tough. There's really no good RC's (Cecil Fielder is about the best) so you'd be looking for a PSA 10 Ryan, Rose, Ripken, etc.. One of those would pay off big but it's honestly not gonna happen. To put it in perspective, I recently opened 7 Rack Pack cases. It was over 20,000 cards and I got 12 PSA 10's. For myself, I'll open 86's whenever I can, I like em.

You know, you could just buy the factory set at BBCE (and keep the wax box sealed as a companion piece), but I guess that wouldn't be much fun, eh? Well, good luck! Be sure to post lots of scans of your pulls! image
