Half Dollar Pictures

I finally broke down and got a friend of mine that is a professional photographer to take pictures of my half dollars. She went through several coin magazines and websites before deciding how best to lay out the final product, but I think she did a good job. The pictures are not as contrasting as some auction houses produce, but show the detail very well. I would appreciate any comments or feedback on the photographs and hope any collectors that enjoy proof halves will enjoy this series from 1857 through 2006.

Well, we finally get to see what the Kallenberg Collection of Proof Halves looks like.

You have one exceptional set and the pictures look awesome. No complaints here.

The picture of the 1998S PR70DC is really a picture of a 1998S SMS MS70 coin. Plus like Russ has already stated, your 1964 PR69DC and 1964 AH PR68DC pictures are mixed up. Nice looking set! Your U.S. Half Dollars Complete Set, Proof (1820-present) is to drool over, thanks for letting us see them!

thanks for the feedback and for catching my errors on the 64 and 98 pix. How do you get rid of the old pictures?

Open your set and click on "View Coin" to the right.

Then below the window with coin info PCgs #, Cert # ... all the way down to Price Guide price you will see the picture below (you don't have to click on the blue edit in this screen). You'll see a panel with the image.
Then delete image.

You see, this is what I love best about the Registry. A simple guy like me, trying to enjoy collecting and running into those frustrating problems that I am not very good at.... then I post a question and the Registry comes alive with suggestions and answers that even I can follow. Yes, the coins are fun... but I have made so many friends. Thanks

I appreciate all of the comments. I have always enjoyed viewing everyone else's coins also. There are coins in other collections that are just better than mine, but those nasty, greedy, mean people want let me have them....... and I don't blame them. We each have our favorites and there are many great collections out there.

But it is a ton of fun..... anybody finds some PR70DCAM Halves from 2007 give me a shout.

Images are kind of small, though -- you may want to consider loading in larger versions.
