    interesting. if i understand this right it is a rare variety and the
    finest known to boot. looks rather original too from the pics.

    what do you think it will hammer at? 15,000?

    The Coinfacts photos of a NY Fugio collection are something to see, aren't they?

    Not to mention the fact that a couple of them have been upgraded since the photos were taken.

    i screwed up majorly when i sold my example several years ago, MAJORLY. i undersold it at the time, & ever since have been unable to replace it for a palatable sum.

    Sure ya did, dorkkarl. I can relate, brother! I had an original roll of these in mint state (or was it a bag?) and traded them all plus my cow for some "magic" beans.

    uh, ok....

    my "lazy 1" was about 2 grades lower then the pcgs example linked, but even in vg+, these are very desirable coins.
