Whizzed and cleaned, and sucker bidders line up to pay over $500.

    Also, what is this BS???

"Paypal is preferred for items $500.00 or less. For items over $500, please send a cashiers check, money order, or personal check. Items paid for with personal checks will be held until the check clears (average of 5 business days). All Paypal payments over 500.00 will be rejected. I do not accept paypal for items over 500.00."

    Nice Ebay TOS violation.

A whizzed coin, is a coin that was most likely AU or XF. Someone then takes a drill or dremmel with a wire brush attached. The circular motion of the wire brush on the coin somewhat replicates luster to an untrained eye. They then try to pass the coin off as uncirculated. If the coin is done well, it can be a little difficult to spot on first glance, but is usually pretty evident upon close/magnified inspection.

Whizzed, cleaned and the surfaces are still no better than a 63.

I have done a lot of sand-blasting to proof medals to give them that "Matte-Proof" look and this looks exactly like those. I would bet, under closer inspection, that the surfaces match the edge.
    I say sand-blasting, glass bead.

    Return policy:

"Five Day Rule Is In Stone! For no reason will we take a coin back if the 3 day return is not adhered to. "

    What??image

    Next up:

Five Day Rule Is In Stone! For no reason will we take a coin back if the 3 day return is not adhered to so it better be back in two days.
Witty sig line currently under construction. Thank you for your patience.

That "in stone" 5 day rule is their profit maker, along with the 15% restock fee. They can claim they did not get it back in their hands in 5 days. They also have a 3 day rule which states it must be postmarked within 3 days of receipt...that gives you 2 days to mail it back. Not good. If you don't return this coin within 24-48 hrs you are almost certainly stuck with it......ie they don't check their mail very often (lol).

Honestly, there is no difference whether the coin gets returned in 4 days or 5 days or 6 days....except that the sellers have a clear cut
window to refuse a return. I'd be afraid that if I returned that coin on their door step within 24 hours that it would not be accepted.
That would be the week that they are on vacation.

It is when someone puts yellow snow on the coin, dries it then sells it!

$4494.00 image That has to be a shill or something. No one who could have that much money would bid that high.

That bidder has won several thousand dollars worth of this seller's altered/retoned/whizzed/cleaned crap.
