1927-S BUFFALO 5 CENT 2 FEATHER?

Just got a 1927-S buffalo 5 cent that looks like it has only 2 feathers. It might be a 2 1/4 feathers??? I see a very slight remnant ofa feather. How little does the third feather have to show for it to be a 2 feather or a 2 1/2 feather?

Ron Pope, can I send this to you to look at?? If so, pm me please with details!

You've almost zoomed in too much there to really be able to tell. I think there is just a hint of a feather left there, which would be more like 2-1/4 feathers as you said. Ron is definitely the man to give you a definitive answer, though he'd probably prefer to judge it from a full obverse pic as well.

This appears to be 2 1/2 feathers.
