1982 OPC wax box

what are the opinions on this box? NO Ripken but mass hof'ers and stars........Not too many out there I guess Is OPC really 1/10th or less of the Topps run? I'd say this is the tuffest box other than 1994..
USN 1977-1987 * ALL cards are commons unless auto'd. Buying Britneycards. NWO for life.

    1982, 1981, and 1980 are all tough OPC products, with 1982 being the most common of the three. The 1982 is a very nice set, although no Ripken hurts. Boxes have been selling on ebay for around $50-$60, which I think is a little high considering there are no big cards, but it's still a nice product. This is not something I would bust if I bought it.

    Just busted a box. Almost as bad as the 78s

    Or the 1979 box I busted last week.
    I would like another box, but from a different case. There are some graded boxes on ebay right now I've been bidding on, but they are going for crazy prices.

    I've been following those as well. Actually, the GAI 9 box that went for 202 was high (but it was graded). Still, those prices are pretty close to the ebay average (about 4.75/pack). Boxes have been going for between 150 and 175 a box since Jan. 2006.

    Is the set much smaller? If so more doubles of hof'ers. The 78 box i busted, though centering sucked, I got 3-4 Roses, carltons, etc

    Awesome thanks for that list. Didn't know about card counts for pre-1976 stuff. But a slight correction, the 1989 and 1993 sets have 396 and the 1994 set (not listed) has 270 cards resp. Not including chase and insert cards. Also, this list doesn't have the Premier sets. But those are crud anyway.
