FINDING GOOD COINS FOR PURCHASE
Where would I go about finding good coins to purchase? I'm new to coin collecting and am looking to increase the size of my collection but am unsure of where to look. Any help about where to find coins and how to tell if they are worth purchasing if they are not graded yet would be great. Thanks

i buy almost everything online via pictures with a return policy.
you need to know your series and be able to grade somewhat
from pictures. you have to keep a sharp eye out in many different
places. BS&T, ebay, coins.ha.com (heritage), teletrade, dealer websites, stacks, etc...
out of a 100 coins, you have to refine your tastes based on your
cash flow, and try to pick out choice pieces that really have a PQ
look for their grade.
ramble, blah blah, but i think you get my point.
good luck. it takes a lot of patience and searching and learning.
<< <i>If you are new then please take some time and read up on the coins you like then start looking to buy, the sale/trade forum is a good place to start. If you try e-bay only buy certified and be carfull! >>
