well i went out today...

in Metal Detecting
for a few hours today and ended up with:

12 pop tabs
1 sinker
1 nail
1 button
2 bottle caps
1 s hook
1 fork
an odd piece of iron

    Better luck next time! If you always found a lot of cool and valuable stuff when you went out then there would be nothing to make them special. image

    welcome to the sinker club!

    Spent about 2 hours yesterday and found about a dollar in change, a sinker, couple of keys, and pop tabs, and some cans.

    I wouldn't have thought the sinker was odd, but there was no water in sight.

    Gene, What kind of a site did you hunt?

    If you use the LEFT up arrow 4 or 5 clicks...you will ignore most of those targets. That gives you more time to work the site. ;-)

    i worked various sites today about an hour or two each, i hunted in a church area and didn't find anything, i also went to a school once again nothing, then i went to a brigde area that i have fished off of and many other people have fished off of. and hunted down there, thats where i found everything...
