I love the EAC. Did you get the history of the EAC book too?

Congratulations on joining EAC. A truly wonderful organization. Next year's annual convention is Dallas, TX. Around May 8-11. If you can make plans to attend a convention, you'll get the real flavor of just how special the organization really is.
Welcome to EAC -- you will be impressed by the membership, the publications, and the dealers. I have never regretted joining. If you are new to copper I would strongly recommend the ANA Summer Seminar -- Steve Carr and Doug Bird do a great job. There is usually an experienced collector or two to spice things up.

If you are considering joining EAC now is the time to do it. If they finally have it together and there are no more delays, along with the next issue of Penny-Wise they will be sending every member a CDROM that will contain the entire 40 years (roughly 240 issues. about 14,000 pages. The paper issues take up around 9 feet of shelf space) of Penny-Wise and the auction catalogs. I do not know if they will be in a searchable format or not. The previous ones they did were, and I believe in the past they said it would be, but I don't know if they were able to keep to that. If they can't I'm sure the annual indexes will be included as well. (I just got my dues notice, you can bet payment is going right back in.)
