1881-S Morgan Arrived Today

I don't collect Morgans and this is the only one in my collection. I liked the look based on the sellers pic's and was going to put it in my 7070 if I won it. Pretty nice coin so I'm going to have think about whether I want to crack it out or not. What cha think?

I think if you're only going to own one Morgan, that's a pretty excellent example!

Looks like it could go 65, but it looks like you might risk a downgrade in designation from DPL to PL.

I was the underbidder on that coin -- the one time you buy a Morgan it has to be coin I was bidding on! imageimage

Love it! Absolutely love it. That is my kind of toning on my kind of coin.

    Nice job. Enjoy it!!

I'll take the opposing side here, and respectfully suggest that you keep her in that nice Old Keyless NGC slab. That's a great looking 2-sided toner 1881-S DPL.
    Congrats!! image
