Regular "shoe" boxes used to haul around cards in top loaders work great for me. They hold 150 PSA graded cards. SGC and Beckett's holders are too wide for this method. The lids fit over the top of cards, but would need to be taped for transport.

I must not have the right type shoe............too much play on the sides, not sturdy enough.

There is a store where I live..its called Home Depot.

They carry pieces of this stuff call "wood". In fact they carry all sizes and shapes.

They also carry "nails" and "glue" (in case you inquire within)

For around $15, you can buy enough "wood" (box makin stuff) to make 4/5 boxes that hold cards in as many rows as you wish.

Take the middle insert out of your shoeboxes.

No. But after trying "50 different size", I thought you might be inclined to try something different.

My 10 yeard old put together a nice one using only glue. Give it a try....or try another 50.

    Wow you're lazy.
  • I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but these boxes were made specifically for graded cards, and hold 75 in each row. They may make double row boxes, but mine are single row.

I use the same boxes that Basestealer posted. They work great and are fairly inexpensive. I purchased mine through BCW

Yes, those boxes pictured above are designed specifically for PSA graded cards and work perfectly. No need to break out the lumber on this one. image

I will vouch for those boxes too. They are called "super vaults" on the BCW site.

Maybe you could go to bcw's site so your 10 yeard old doesnt have to glue wood anymore.

BCW also has a storage box that is similar to the one pictured, but it is a little smaller height wise. I was wondering if anyone has used it for storing cards that are in card savers I or II's?

If you have, does it work well and how many cards will it hold?

Allen Edmonds shoe boxes work perfectly. They are thick and sturdy!

Here are the boxes I use. These are the double row boxes Basestealer mentioned. A couple of bucks each is not bad and nothing to assemble.

Oh my goodness! Thank you, thank you, a million times, thank you image

That's exactly what I've been looking for! In fact, my heart just skipped a beat image

Edited to add: I just looked at BCW's site and can't find that 2-sided shoebox for graded cards. Only shows 1 row boxes.

Can someone please help a brother out.
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

Where do you get the plastic sleeves for PSA slabs? Are they just team set bags or are they specifically for graded cards?

I can't find anyone that sells the double row boxes for graded cards anymore. I stocked up before Shinder's went out of business. I don't think they have any stores still open. I will check to make sure.

The plastic sleeves for graded cards are available from sellers of sports card supplies.

Ditto, on both counts. I use one for my screwdowns. I have another that's currently empty except for a very lonely SGC 67 Lou Brock, but when my Roop box runs out of room in a couple of months, I'll be utilizing it.
