It is possible he believes there is going to be a big finish on this Wounded Eagle Sacagawea and thus the (new USPS) insurance rate will be somewhat expensive. (Of course, it could also be, as he featured this coin at an added expense of $20. he's looking for the postage to pay that fee back!)
I wouldn't abandon the auction quite yet... it's still in a comfort range that, even considering the added postage to the auction price, is a pretty good deal when compared to what MS64 ANACS (the only pricing history available for the variety) coins have closed at (average of $400., give or take...).
Do either of you have a link that shows this?
The name is LEE!
He is banking on the fact that PCGS has only encapsulated 2 as of now ,but that is because they just started recognizing the variety.

<< <i>His pricing is all over the board on shipping (ranges from $4.50 to $5.50 to $6.95...) with his other lots, so I wouldn't give up on him yet.

I think you are right. His other auctions have much more reasonable shipping charges. I think he is expecting a big sale number to insure. Even so, I think his star rating in the shipping cost category will suffer a hit.
