Has this ever happened to anyone?
I tried to pay someone tonight via paypal. I went through the entire process, then when I clicked 'pay', it said that accounts with restricted access cannot send money...
So, I go to 'my account' and try to figure out what is going on. They say that during an audit of my account, they saw some suspicious activity and restricted my account. I can certainly appreciate that, so I go to the resolution steps. I pass the first 2 easily, then am blocked on the 3rd step: I need to verify a phone number on my account. I moved almost a year ago, changed my address, but left my phone number as my cell phone, which is apparently unconfirmed (although my new address is confirmed). I try to add my home phone number, with my current address, and it won't let me. It says that I cannot confirm a phone number on an address that has already been confirmed -- the address must also be unconfirmed! So, I call paypal, but of course, they're closed, and it looks like I'll be figuring this out on Tuesday.
By the way, I tried to delete my address or change it to my old address, and that is full of nastiness as well.....
