    We'll be blowing by the quittin' Braves in the standings soon enough. Admittedly, the pesky Pets are playing good ball right now, but we'll be taking care of that problem next time we face them. The Pets players are a bunch of mercenaries and as soon as we turn up the heat on them, they'll be runnin' like rabbits. Ha!

    Just think, even with the Sillies playing well over their heads right now, they're just treading water and still 7 games back of the defending NL east CHAMPION Mets!!

    Lead now 8 games and widening with each week. At this rate, the Sillies will be 15 games out by the All Star Break! And now Howard is hurt again...
