What Gordie Howe card did I see?

I know little about hockey. A friend at a flea market had a Gordie Howe card and i think the back had 65-66 parkhust on it? it was a horizontal card and I believe the background/border was red. The card was in nice shape and he was asking $100 but would take less I am sure. I skimmed ebay and did not see this card. I thought I could pull it up on ebay easily, but I have had no luck. I know i am an idiot for not writting down the card # or a better description, but I hoped someone here could help me.

  • There was no parkhurst set that year. How about the 66-67 OPC with the woodgrain TV border? Closest that I could think of...

Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

This is the only other horizontal Gordie I can think of off the top of my head.

The Howe 1957 Parkie had a red border but it was vertical.

Possible it might have been a reprint from one of the 1990s Parkhurst sets?
  • There's also an early 60's Parkie with Howe in front of a big puck, but I think you would have pinpointed that pretty quickly.

I do not believe it is any of those. I will have to get a better description when I see him in 2 weeks. Thanks for the help though.
