  • Hi - I have such a coin in the pcgs set registry right now under (The delivery Set) .Coin is as follows Very nice deep mirror coin if you know much about 1950's lots were very hazy fields not this coin . Reverse is hands down deep cam .Obverse is right where cameo should be for a 1950. Had this coin to rick at r@i about a year ago , but didnt really want to sell it. Bought this originally from david hall .paid 6950.00 plus shipping and ins .If you want to talk about buying this coin let me know .have many other top notch coins in this series also if your lookin. Michael,

Thanks for the reply and info. Actually a couple months ago, Rick T. offered to sell me a 1950 Cameo 66 from a PCGS certified proof set that the owner tried to sell as a set for a billzion $$. He offered the Franklin at $4,500. Just too steep for me, so I passed. I would probably go $3,000 on a good day! Your 1950 sounds beautiful.

Just recently made a trade with another member of this board for a 1951 CAM 66 and worked out great! Now I am just missing the 1950 - 66 cam and my set is complete.

Here's what my collection looks like today (all PCGS or NGC).Is there a registry for those with both NGC and PCGS?

    1950 - 66
    1951 - 66 CAM
    1951 - 67 CAM
    1953 - 67CAM
    1954 - 68 CAM
    1955 - 68 CAM
    1956 - 69 CAM T2
    1957 - 68 W CAM
    1958 - 68 CAM
    1959 - 68 CAM
    1960 - 68 CAM
    1961 - 67 ULTRA CAM
    1962 - 67 ULTRA CAM
    1963 - 68 ULTRA CAM

    Thanks!
    Dave

  • Yes you can register a mixed set at NGC. Your Pcgs coins kind of get a bad break becouse they dont have a star designation .But its fun anyways. Seen a 65cam Ngc comming up on heritage auction and one there now bin. for like 1200-1400. But know that most these coins are ussually 64 cams or 65 proofs at pcgs as they were graded long ago when ngc would give anything a cam . Well good luck Mike
