Do TPG's make allowances for old hammered coins?

Do ICG or others net grade and slab cleaned hammered coins? (Not mentioning the net grade as ANACS does). I guess most of the older coins have been cleaned in the past, so do they get slabbed or bagged?

From my experience, no.

PCGS net grades coins and I like it when they do...I would imagine that they would do the same for hammered gold and silver but I cant speak from experience.
