Low grade registry coin - 1964-D Kennedy PCGS PO-1 - check it out

I just sold this gem from me, pics taken by LucyBop. My YN found this in a silver bag junk pile purchased from our local coin shop.

The only way to tell that it's a 1964 is that the D mintmark is visible on the reverse - the date is gone on this dog!

I'm picture posting illiterate, but I'll pm Lucy to see if she can do it.

Would love to see it. Here's my 1964-P PCGS PO01 for comparison:

    Man that coin looks tired!

Very neat to see a worn out Kennedy.

This loser eyesore of a coin could be the cornerstone of your registry set.

Bragging rights are yours with this stunner. Be the envy of the registry set participants, as it doesn't get any worse then this 64D PO1 loser:

What I found interesting is that only 3 letters "BER" on the obverse rim are easily readable. In aerospace this term is an evaluation, meaning that a part is "Beyond Economical to Repair". A little off topic, but price concideration of a part costing over 60% to repair would be "BER".

I think that fits this coin nicely. Cool coin image

Too bad it is a circulation strike instead of a Accented Hair Proof.

I wonder what the market value would be for a 1964 Accented Hair DCAM Proof Half graded PF1 DCAM would beimage
