Should I cancel this auction?

I just noticed there's a pretty good flan crack on this Henry I penny. It shows in the photo but would be easy to miss. Should I cancel and relist or is adding the information now good enough. Thanks

In all honesty, with the two additions, I personally would cancel it and start over.

That's what I was thinking. I feel pretty stupid over the wrong date. I was copying the information from the CNG auction I purchased from and they had used the wrong date.Text I sure wish I had caught the mistake.image

I would also pull the plug on that one and start over.

Just make sure to give the current bidders the courtesy of an explanations.

I say let it ride. I'm the high bidder, and the flan crack doesn't change my bid any.

But in case you relist it, it's a 20c listing day today.

  • I have never pulled an ebay auction, despite errors in the listings but then again I only really sell low end stuff. If I were you I would pull the auction and start over.

Thanks for the input, I think you're right.

Thanks for the opinions everybody. I've gone over the coin with a 20x loupe and I'm sure the coin is stable.
I'm going to let the auction go but I'll make sure the winning bidder is aware of the problem. If I thought the
problem was bad enough I promise the auction would be closed.
