There is an excellent book entitled "Litzmannstadt; a Chapter of German Monetary History." Authors are Guy, Hammer, Schoenawa & Shoenawa and the text is in both German and English. I bought my copy from Karl Stephens. It has an excellent discussion (and some pics) on how to tell the real from the counterfeit. Well over 90% of what I see offerred I think are counterfeit.

Mine have already been certified by ICG. Just wondering if PCGS certified these. I know ICG sent the coins out to an expert, they told me this, and for this reason it took over 6 weeks for ICG to get the coins back to me. So I'm fairly confident they are authentic.

Ajaan, I have seen your Lodz ghetto coins and if you send them in to PCGS for a crossover, I hope PCGS steps up to the plate and grades them properly, ie as uncirculated pieces, though they're currently graded AU58 by ICG.
