I just drove 7 hours to St. Louis for the CSNS show. It was a good excuse to spend time with my cousin and uncle from seattle also though. They fly out here to Columbus, Ohio every year and we drive to the Central States show from here.
Want to buy an auction catalog for the William Hesslein Sale (December 2, 1926). Thanks to all those who have helped us obtain the others!!!

The farthest I've driven is about four hours one way to St. Louis for the Central States Show. That would be my top limit. I would easily drive two hours one way for any medium size show. One hour to a small show.

280 miles Las Vegas to Long Beach for the Long Beach Coin and Stamp Show, try to do it at least once a year! It would be nice if I could make all three!

I have gone from San Jose to Long Beach a few times. That is a decent drive, perhaps 350-400 miles each way.

I have crossed the US (like CoinKing) several times, but not for coin shows. It takes longer than flying but you see lots more. image

Too many shops in the Windy City to drive too far. 1/2 hour 45 minutes, tops.

Half an hour maybe 45 minutes by car.

But then, LI, NY area has plenty of shops and NYC is only an hour or so by LIRR.

Pittsburgh ANA was a 5 hour, 350 mile drive each way; probably my limit.

Baltimore is an easy 90 minute ride.

Agree that if you drive from Chicago to Milwaukee using 90/94, allow 3 days, bring extra gas & food in the car, and leave your organ donor card where emergency personnel can find it.

2 hrs to Baltimore is about my limit. Although if I could have gotten the days off work I would have drove the five hours to Charlotte.
