NNC MS65 vs. PCGS AU...

Just found this board and this question/comment/horse may have already beaten to death......Would a {this} seller see higher realized prices if he/she would pay the extra $$ and submit to PCGS even though the coins may be downgraded to AU or XF, rather than hype NNC and quote inaccurate trends? IMO, I would only self slab as a last resort after the body bags are in. At any rate, a few of their CBH10c have a nice look to them but , I refuse to deal w/ pwr scwrz.

That coin probably was rejected by PCGS for a problem. So no, they would not get more because they can't get it into a PCGS holder. I don't know that, but it is my guess and I'm sticking to it.

You can clearly see hits above Liberty's head and other flaws that would keep it out of a 65 holder even if it were UNC, which it isn't. My guess is altered surfaces or artificial toning keeps it out of a mainstream holder.

As an aside I think I need to think about removing the power seller logo from my auctions due to all the negative feelings it brings to folks on this forum...
