    I would assume that's the reason the case was opened. I would expect no high dollar inserts to be left.

    I would not touch that auction personally. Back in 1999 I bought a case of SPx football and found the boxes had been opened with no sign of the UD factory shinkwrap. Apparently the seller figured out the seeding for the autographed rookies and pulled them all, filling the box out with spares from another box he pillaged. I only had to open one box to confirm before I was threatening legal action after initially being ignored when I e-mailed him asking for a refund. Eventually he made good, taking the "unopened" boxes back and sending me some rookies from the set to compensate me for the one box I did open. Like Lee said, they were opened for a reason, and probably a very bad one if you are the "winner" of this auction.
