Reprint sets?

Hi guys, do any of you bother with reprint sets? I own a Mars attacks, Red Menace and just picked up a set of Bowman Rockets, Jets and Spacemen on ebay. IMO they are great to put in binders and enjoy for a fraction of the price.

My question is are there any reprint sets available for other sets such as Topps 1950 Bring 'em back alive, '38 Horrors of War, '50 Freedoms war? Or any other great sets from that era ('30's to '50's) I have searched Ebay and cannot locate any at this time.

Thanks!

The short answer is yes - I think Larry Fritsch has reprint sets of almost everything. Should be easy to find his website.

Thanks Mark! I noticed he does have the Horrors of war set.
  • I decided to get the reprints of the 1966 Batman sets as they were the first sets I collected. I enjoy having them.

Keith where did you pick that up?
  • I actually picked up this boxed collection of the three reprint sets at one of the Chicago shows a couple of years ago. I had been looking on ebay for them, but found one for about $10 at this one booth where they have tons of cheap wax.

I have them in plastic pages just like they were the real thing image.
