new member with a steve hart question

hi,new to the boards.read them quite a bit.brought several unopened boxes from steve hart bbcard exchange(all great).to my surprise as well as steves my 1978/79 basketball had 1/2 the packs contain top basketball and bottom hockey.anyone else had this happen,steve called and said he has heard of this before and seen it with i think he said 1968 baseball.anyway it was unopened as one pack contained dr. j on top and bobby clarke on bottom.any imput would be great for steve as well as myself. thanks ray (flash49)

    i opened them all.i plan on buying more though,i hope from the same case.steve thinks it was end of year and cross sports which caused this mishap if i get another i will post before opening all.but box was 18/36 packs mixed not all.

    Has not happened to me personally but I have seen a few on ebay.

    and I think the other was Baseball with Mork and Mindy if I remember correct.

    Ah, let me correct myself....

    You know that Mork and Mindy was a wrong back now that you mention that. I think It had a sport back.

    The 1986 Topps rack pack though had both Football and baseball cards in it.

    all other boxes were clean but these were wild.pete maravich and penguins team card same pack wild.

    very sorry about your daughter,please look into alternative medicines.mainstream not that good.lost a wife to cancer and new wife a hospice rn.
