Makes me feel like I got a great bargain for buying mine for "only" $225.

There are no 9's, right? I wonder what a 9 would bring with that 8 price in mind? $5,000?

    I just checked and there are 51 8's, 1 9, and 0 10's.

Yeah 1000 I think is way top range for it. I bought mine for close to 300.

That is the highest I've seen that card go for in 8, but it is extremely well centered.

I've observed over the years that when a given card is low pop and typically has centering problems, that when a dead-on centered card appears on the auction block, it will fetch an extraordinary price. I knew this one would eclipse $900. The same thing goes with the '69 Yaz. Most have centering problems, and those 60/40 PSA 8s sell for $200-250 but the few centered ones I've seen have gone over $400 every time.

BTW there is one PSA 9 Brock.
